Onyx Bats Are ILLEGAL?! What Happened To Onyx Bats
USA/ASA Softball has officially banned Onyx Slowpitch Softball bats from their league. What does this mean? If you're looking to play any sanctioned ball don't expect one of these to be allowed on the field. Due to an issue between Onyx and ASA/USA Softball, these bats no longer meet the requirements to legally be used. It could be as simple as a stamp issue technicality, or they may be beyond the compression threshold to legally be used. Don't freak out though, more than likely local leagues will still allow these bats to be used and not be an issue....
